SEASON 11:ARTISTS
We have never felt luckier to work with so many amazing artists than now. The community we have has continued to grow throughout 2020-2021. New faces have joined us, old faces with new talents, old talents with new voices, the sharing of ideas and art is overwhelming.
Due to the ongoing collaborative nature of all of our Season 11 projects we have chosen to showcase all artists together, regardless of which "show" you might see them in. No single show would be possible without all of their combined efforts. Please learn about our artists below, and please support them in their other endeavors that we share with you here.

ISAIAH BOND [Reverse Tour] is a social worker by day and a freelance photographer once he's saved enough lives for the day. Growing up on the North Side of Milwaukee made new experiences and proper guidance difficult to come by. Which is why being able to use art to speak to the world is so crucial, especially in today's world. He wishes to continue to use the arts to bring light to his home city and be a guiding light for those growing up without one. His (first ever) video project is quite literally a day in my shoes.

Through his work he has coached Olympic level figure skaters, Grammy Award winning vocalists, and Jeff Award winning actors.  In addition to his private studio he also is on faculty at Columbia College Chicago in the theatre department and teaches regularly at the Old Town School of Folk Music and Green Shirt Studio. During the pandemic he has enjoyed watching the neighborhood's dogs out of his windows and giving them tasteful nicknames.

THEO ZUCKER* [Reverse Tour] Theo's love of storytelling takes many different forms -- acting, writing, and visual art. As an actor in Chicago, Theo has found a home with Stone Soup Shakespeare. Highlights of her time with this wonderful company include summer tours of Julius Caesar and Twelfth Night, as well as a staged reading of Romeo and Juliet. As a playwright, Theo has had her work featured in readings around Chicago. Most recently, her short play The Plants was part of Connective Theatre Company’s Play(s) at Home virtual play festival. Theo is also a digital artist. You can find her work on her Instagram at @theodorable_art, visit her online gallery, or browse her Etsy shop.

One of our favorite things about theater is that it is a collaborative art. Not only does theater rely on actors and writers, musicians and designers, directors and stage managers to create a play or performance, theater relies on YOU--the audience. The story you are about to embark on in our COUNTER EXPEDITION asks you to contribute as much or as little as you wish. You can sit back for the ride, or you can make active choices.

Tickets on for all of our events are free, but donations are welcome to ensure we are able to pay all the artists that are helping us make sure story-telling is able to reach "your backyards."

The joy of theater is that it is many things to many people.
It is community coming together to take in art in shared spaces.
It is artists working together to tell stories.
It is voices being heard.
It is people listening.
It is feeling, together.

Whatever theater is most to you, we encourage you to share in all it is, and all it can be, and give yourself time and space in this moment to reflect on its place in your life.
