Stone Soup Shakespeare heads West to explore one of Shakespeare's favorite problem plays The Taming of the Shrew. This comedy finds the Minola sisters, Katherina and Bianca, linked as the younger cannot marry until the older one has. Strong-willed Kate is a bit too much for most of Padua's suitors who are enamored with Bianca's bewitching beauty. When a stranger - Petruchio - comes to town who is as strange as Kate is quick-witted the two seem perfectly fitted, but are they? Will Bianca ever marry? Will Katherina find happiness? Will Petruchio win the final bet on the fairest wife? Will Will Shakespeare's play about taming women find a home in 2018? Only time and tour will tell!

Shows on our tour are always free, though we do encourage you to bring a non-perishable item for donation (all shows are partnered with a local food bank), and if you are able to make a financial donation to keep us moving on to the next backyard - well, we're not gonna say no.
