There's a double meaning in that |
What is a Green Show?
Green, meaning jealousy, meaning a color, meaning something environmentally sound OR meaning something brand spanking new! If you chose the last option you are correct! A tradition that is as old as Shakespeare's plays, a green show was the opening act and would often be a play by a younger playwright, or perhaps something by younger players, or something that was just so new that it needed to be tested out a bit. We love the idea of all of those things and are playing around with them this year at a few locations. Check the tour calendar and if you want to catch a Green Show show up a few minutes early and see a little something extra!
